| i have similar fault on my 1998 2litre voyager le. the car will turn over start then cuts out, the alarm set light flashes. if i disconnect the battery for more than 24hours it will clear and start when battery is reconnected. also sometimes it doesn't do this but instead starts up cuts out, but this time no flashing alarm light, but the instument panel doesn't display milage, revs, fuel level etc... can't seem to find a solution for this anywhere, any help would be much appreciated |

remove the top of the dashboard.
on the n/s next to the speaker you will see a large steel plate which is held in with a couple of screws. remove them and lift up/under it will be a black box with a loom going to it. unplug it and clean the contacts. refit and try it.
this is the rke module or in laymans terms.
remote keyless entry.
alarm/immobiliser.
good luck!!!! |

| just done my friends with the same problem, theses cars dont have fan switches like most ,the fans work of the signal from the temp switch , on the ns chassis leg you will find a black heatsik pack bolted to the cassis leg with a blck connector ,this controls the fans |
