my kia shuma has two coils which each control two cylinders, the coils are located under the plastic cover on top of the main engine block, simply unscrew the holding screws and lift it off, below you'll see two plastic blocks, these are the coils, and they sit directly down onto a plug each, with a lead comming from them to the secondry plug of each coil, now if its the plug which sits under the coil then i'm afraid its a new coil as its all one piece.
