hi all,
i purchased a new turbo from autovaux last week in which it is advised to get a vxr turbo to replace old unit.
i purchased for use on my zafira gsi with advise as this is the better one to run as i could not get my original turbo repaired as beyond repair.
anyways the turbo as been fitted for a week and getting some strange problems.
it seems to be getting very very hot and also glowing bright red hot from turbo/manifold area underside to right of actuator and sheild which never happened before with the old turbo.
im not even hammering it or put foot down often seems to even happen on normal running
but car seems to be running fine thou but creating a burning smell of heat!!!
also the temp gauge inside car is not going over 80 degrees??? when vauxhall's always usually run at 90 degress.
any help or advice you can give please????
