try the distributor
on the 8v it is on the right as you look at the engine and has the plug leads connected to it with an orange cap(borch/delco).
the dizzy is a hall effect and when the modulator inside gets hot it breaks down.
get one from a breakers yard and fit it on it will do the trick |

| hi. i had such a problem on my cavalier, and found it to be as simple as tightening the terminals on the batter, it might work, but its that simple that you have to try, let me know if it works. |
