| hi, had starter motor fixed last month due to engine not ticking over and losing water. seemed to fix problem but now it's back. when i can start the car it grumbles for a minute or so like it's not turning over properly, i'm losing nearly half my water every journey and had white smoke or steam the other day, but none the day after. today i couldn't start the car, kept trying to start it and it took eventually. when running it runs smooth. any ideas. my husband is convinced it's the head gasket and wants me to just get a new car. |
