my car died on me last week.started fine, got 1/4 mile up the road, it jerked a couple of times and stopped. the mechanic says its the crankshaft.what is this?! will it be really expensive to fix?the car only cost me £600 at auction so dont wanna spend too much fixing it! any ideas???
