engine is producing a high pitched resonating noise,seems to get worse at around 40mph. cat has been replaced(expensive)a test drive by a local garage pointed to wheel bearing failure but i think its like the engine is struggling for air,power is down and sometimes smell of petrol. any ideas
where is petrol smell coming from?
if engine bay could be faulty injector, if rear of car could be fuel pump.
suspect loss of power cuased by low fuel preasure, noise could be pump trying too hard.
